2009 Edelweiss

This is the only example of Edelweiss in Washinton State that we know of.  It is a rare, wonderful and quintessential Leavenworth.  It is packed with bright fruit while being absolutely dry and crisp. Louie has crafted another fine vineyard which is producing an excellent grape for IRW!  Look for hints of pineapple, peach and a distinct mineral finish.

The newest release of Smooth Jazz Blend is filled with spice, berry and earthy characteristics. The aroma is primarily oak and leather, which sets your palate up for a healthy dose of Bing cherry, anise, and tobacco. The ninth production of our flagship red, Romanze Blend, is an amazing example of what the art of wine blending can produce.  Blended by Winemaker Don Wood and twenty IRW wineclub members, this is our best Romanze yet!  It is full of anise and oak on the nose with bright red ripe cherry on the palate.  The long finish lingers with subtle clove and leather.

Rich aroma featuring fireside smoke, ripe red cherry, unmistakable vanilla and a whisper of cedar.  It is a big wine with a mixture of berry, cherry and very subtle clove and earthy notes.  The finish is long with lingering dried fruits.

This Seattle Wine Awards winner is an intense combination fo ripe cherry, strawberry and a whisper of roasted almond open this spectacular Cab.  The mid-palate is absolutely loaded with spice notes including clove, ginger and black pepper.  It is completed with a long finish which is unusually fruit driven and dominated by berry notes.  The wine has robust tannins which are sure to allow this wine to hold up in the bottle in your cellar for years.
